25to Aniversario de la Casa Aboy – 1975–2000

Casa Aboy, located in San Juan, is one of Puerto Rico’s most important cultural and photographic centers, known for exhibitions, workshops, and artistic preservation efforts. The 25th anniversary (1975–2000) marked a milestone in Puerto Rico’s photographic community, acknowledging the institution’s role in nurturing photographers, historians, and artists. Casa Aboy became especially significant during the late 20th century as photography gained institutional recognition on the island.

Alonso’s textured, pastel-inspired poster evokes the tactile quality of analog photography and hand-crafted artistic techniques—symbolizing the fusion of craft and community central to Casa Aboy.
